We are seeking a Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for delivering all of Thales LATAM recruitment needs using a Direct Sourcing model. Your focus will be on targeting and attracting passive talent, with the goal of being the best at Strategic Sourcing of Passive Talent and serving as a Talent Advisor to the business.

As a frontline position, you will have a seat at the table and be part of a team that consistently exceeds expectations by delivering the best possible talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as a champion of Thales America's Integrated Talent Acquisition Strategy, influencing key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to adopt new processes, tools, and behaviors.
  2. Provide thought leadership, strategic advice, and coaching on all areas of Resourcing activity.
  3. Personally own the full resourcing lifecycle for assigned roles, from requirements definition, sourcing, selection through to onboarding.
  4. Own the Hiring Manager relationship, coaching them through the sourcing process, their role within it, creating appropriate target lists, and a compelling value proposition to sell to passive candidates.
Required Skills and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's Degree required.
  2. 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition sourcing Developers, Engineers, IT, Software, Finance, and/or Procurement.
  3. 5+ years of experience using sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Google, X-Ray Sourcing, Phenom, and/or SeekOut.
  4. Able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the current organization's core business, products, customers, and strategic direction.
  5. Ability to speak, read, write English and Spanish.
  6. Will have spent a key portion of their career in an executive search firm at Consultant level or higher delivering full lifecycle passive search assignments.
  7. Able to positively influence at all levels of an organization up to VP and develop valued relationships with Senior Executives, Managers, and Candidates alike.
  8. Politically savvy, flexible, and with a strong drive to achieve desired outcomes in an environment of constant change, competing priorities, and objectives.
  9. Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify trends, create strategic action plans based on the information, and gain sponsorship for these at domain board level.
  10. Lead, model, manage, and coach the organization in best practice selection techniques.
  11. Able to model desired behaviors in a corporate environment, be the ultimate role model for the team in terms of behaviors, standards, and best practice.
  12. Personal powers of resilience and tenacity; takes personal responsibility for resolving performance issues before they impact on the business; consistently sees things through to completion.
