As a member of our data team, you will collaborate closely with professionals in Data and Analytics, IT, Sales, and customers to design, document, test, and support the creation of data visualization solutions that convey valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to established strategies, standards, and best practices in data visualization, data access, and integration within large-scale analytical platforms.
- Develop compelling and informative visualizations and analyses for internal or external stakeholders using tools like Spotfire and/or other open-source technologies.
- Create wireframes and mockups of dashboards and reports as needed to facilitate communication among teams and clients.
- Utilize agile methodologies to extract, transform, and analyze data from platforms like SQL, R, Hive, Impala, and/or Python to drive business decision-making.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement activities.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent discipline; Master's Degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in a related role.
- Cloud certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
- Experience with Tableau and BI tools is an asset.
