Senior Software Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Architect to join our team. As a key member of our software development group, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of software engineering principles and practices, as well as experience in developing high-scale cloud platforms and services. You will work closely with our product managers, artists, and frontend engineers to gather requirements and build components and features on multiple layers of the stack.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and delivering key functionality end-to-end with a focus on data modeling, data ingestion, and scalability
  • Ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services, resolving live issues as appropriate
  • Continuously delivering functionality via iteration and learning
  • Working closely with QA teams to deliver high-quality and functional capabilities

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of full-stack experience in software engineering using at least one modern language such as C/C++, C#, Azure Resource Stack
  • Hands-on experience in developing high-scale and available cloud platforms and services in Azure
  • Hands-on experience in delivering simple user interfaces and APIs with experience in RESTful/JSON/XML/XAML
  • Practical experience and familiarity with databases including RDBMS and NoSQL
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with hands-on experience of bridging on-premises services with services in Public Cloud as per strict corporate security requirements, basic to advanced HTML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript, HTTP/URL, Angular, and browser-related skills, and strong knowledge of parallel programming, thread programming, and scalability.
