We are seeking an experienced senior engineer to lead our team in designing, building, and shipping high-quality Android software applications.
- Design and develop innovative Android software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
- Build and deploy durable, secure, scalable, and reliable software that exceeds expectations.
- Architect robust networking and data modeling layers that support complex systems.
- Provide recommendations on optimal solutions for a given platform, considering technical constraints and business requirements.
- Champion programming best practices and modular design, ensuring maintainable and testable code.
- Own the delivery of major features and components, collaborating with teams and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software in an agile environment, prioritizing quality and efficiency.
- Improve existing code for maintainability and testability, applying principles of clean architecture and design patterns.
- Practice pair programming and write unit tests to ensure code coverage, following industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in Scrum and/or Kanban processes, contributing to continuous improvement and process refinement.

- 4+ years of professional programming experience.
- Strong understanding of the Android development lifecycle and ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Room, Coroutines/Flow, RxJava, Dagger 2, Gradle, Fragments, OkHttp3, Retrofit or Volley.
- Experience with IDEs, Git, and command line tools.
- Experience with CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Espresso, JUnit, Mockito/Mockk, and Appium.
- Experience with Google APIs and SDKs.
- Experience with Hilt.
- Developed for multiple Android platforms.
- Inclusive and accessible UI implementations.
- Experience using Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, Voice, and/or AR/VR.
