Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Development Director to lead the development of our Latam portfolio of projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of large-scale PtX projects, collaborating with external co-development partners, and managing complex project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project development efforts for large-scale PtX projects in collaboration with external co-development partners.
  • Manage co-development partners to ensure they meet performance objectives and advance project milestones.
  • Oversee external consultant SMEs supporting projects across various specialties, including environmental studies, permitting, public affairs, and engineering studies.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to meet with co-developers and key stakeholders.
  • Support green hydrogen and derivatives strategy through staying up-to-date on industry trends, markets, policy, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead regular project update meetings with the extended team and co-development partners.
  • Maintain project budgets, Gantt schedules, and KPI dashboards.
  • Assist with project-level accounting and financials.
  • Provide inputs into techno-economic models supporting project economics and offtake discussions.
  • Coordinate with GIS and engineering teams to develop project layouts.
  • Help improve processes and protocols for the development organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Clear-thinking and organizational approach, utilizing Gantt charts to drive project strategy.
  • Knowledge of the full project development lifecycle and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of green hydrogen, ammonia, or e-fuels is beneficial but not required.
