Clinical Specialists play a pivotal role in facilitating innovative therapies that empower patients to reclaim their lives from complex arrhythmias.

This position offers a structured pathway to become a Mapping Specialist, allowing experienced professionals to develop deep expertise in mapping systems and complex ablation procedures. As an advanced clinical leader, you will be poised to make a meaningful impact in the field.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide expert assistance to ensure Region meets Cardiac Ablation Solutions sales and customer service objectives.
  • Procedure Representation: Represent Medtronic during ablation procedures to offer troubleshooting and technical guidance.
  • Inquiry Resolution: Research and provide solutions to customer inquiries, encompassing Catheter, Console, and Generator support.
  • Educational Support: Educate physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical aspects of AFS products and related procedures.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with RM and field training departments to educate/train new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers.
  • Hospital Training: Provide resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel.
  • Sales Support: Assist in influencing revenue growth within the region by providing sales support.
  • Communication: Update sales representatives on procedures and notify Account Manager regarding issues or problems requiring follow-up.
  • Representation: Serve as an effective Medtronic representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic products, service, and support.
  • Product Promotion: Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic products and related procedures.
  • Sales Objectives: Understand national, regional, and territory sales objectives and work in partnership with Account Manager to achieve and exceed goals.
