Senior Data Insights Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Insights Specialist to join our analytics team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and building strategic insights utilizing comprehensive visual analytics capabilities.

About the Role:

  • You will serve as an authority for key metrics and KPIs, data lineage, access, visualizations, and storytelling across functions and regions.
  • You will identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements, and define the scope and objectives to drive business decisions.
  • You will prepare data and explore new potential data to support reporting and analysis initiatives.
  • You will lead analysis in collaboration with process and operations leadership to identify top opportunities for improvement and track progress and impact on future results.
  • You will mentor and coach peers and recommend process improvements related to delivery and new methodologies.
  • You will partner with the team to develop a detailed understanding of the business and offer mentorship or technical solutions to identify business problems.
  • You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • You will build prototypes to test new concepts and be a key contributor of ideas that improve fact-based decision making, advanced analytics, and key performance metrics.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience.
  • Business acumen and the ability to partner and communicate effectively with business counterparts.
  • 3+ years applied experience in working with Visual Analytics Platforms like Tableau and/or PowerBI.
  • 2+ years applied experience in optimizing performance of dashboards (front-end) to accommodate for non-functional requirements.
  • Supported and enabled management information and business intelligence strategy.
  • Applied experience with UI/UX concepts and story-telling through data.
  • Applied experience with data process mapping and business analysis.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
