We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Business Data Cloud Specialist.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing Spark workloads to refine performance and optimize resource usage under supervision. You will also implement and maintain monitoring solutions for Spark applications, addressing basic performance issues.

You will collaborate with teams to support frameworks enabling elastic scaling of workloads. Additionally, you will document optimization techniques and contribute to workshops sharing insights with peers.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Spark workloads to refine performance and optimize resource usage.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for Spark applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Distributed computing principles and their applications in data processing.
  • Apache Spark architecture and operations basics.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and using DataFrames for data manipulation.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing runtime issues.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Spark's web UI and Grafana.
