Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume end-to-end ownership of import supply chain processes, from manufacturer to availability in our Fulfillment Centers. This role involves shaping and delivering the importation selection strategy to customers.

Key characteristics of the ideal candidate include:

  • The ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, demanding, and often ambiguous environments.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing inventory management strategies to optimize customer experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for educating and onboarding vendors, building and maintaining relationships with Senior leaders, Finance, Retail, and partners to grow and optimize the joint import business. They will also develop and improve vendor relations and import sourcing for cost savings and new selection.

In addition, this role requires collaboration with key stakeholders around the world to maintain alignment. The candidate will drive integration between new vendors and Amazon supply chain, product compliance, and merchandising processes. They will also contribute to the development of best practices and contract standards.

A key performance indicator for this role includes monitoring, analyzing, and owning metrics such as vendor import share, out-of-stock rate, vendor operational metrics, and marketing investments.

Ultimately, the goal is to ensure a reliable, operational, and cost-effective flow of goods, from ordering to receive.
