Junior Talent Manager

As a Junior Talent Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse population of consultants across various offices and practices. Your role will involve scheduling, performance management, and personal engagement with consultants to understand their strengths, development objectives, and career goals.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office. You will balance business needs alongside consultant preferences and development needs to deliver appropriate staffing and talent management outcomes.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Talent Management: Use performance management processes to engage consultants on development needs and areas for training, develop relationships with each consultant, assist in directing them towards resources for career advice, and monitor work-life-quality issues.
  • Project Staffing: Understand project nuances, liaise with project team leaders, collect relevant details from Partners and Practice Group TMs, anticipate capacity issues, and communicate staffing outcomes to consultants.
  • Consultant Development and Performance Management: Understand performance management frameworks, coordinate training with the Learning and Development team, read performance appraisals, and follow-up on issues or performance flags.
  • Data, Analysis, and Reporting: Review utilization reports, assist with assembling project pipelines and consultant availability reports, prepare documents for senior leadership meetings, and assist with performance outcome results analysis.

For this position, we are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's Degree, 3-5 years of experience in client services, management consulting, and/or Human Resources, and possessing skills such as relationship building, communication, data analysis, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
