Supply Chain Specialist Coordinator Job Description

This role involves coordinating the supply chain for global retail footprint growth and refurbishment plans. You will play a key part in expanding and maintaining OIA's Key Account with Suitsupply.

As a Supply Chain Specialist Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, and seamless execution of store openings, refits, and relocations. This includes collaborating closely with stakeholders in Suitsupply to ensure necessary materials, furnishings, and services are ordered and delivered on time and within budget.

You will work closely with internal teams in Suit Supply to understand project timelines, research and plan the most appropriate route for shipment, obtain and check documentation, maintain visibility and control through all phases of the journey, complete customs formalities, communicate with suppliers, track shipments, and help manage inventory levels.

  • Coordinate logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and implement strategies to improve performance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have highly organized and detail-oriented skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. They should be able to identify and resolve logistical issues efficiently and possess knowledge and expertise in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and inventory management. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think critically, and make informed decisions is essential.
