Inventory Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store by assisting in the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.

  • Coordinate delivery schedules with shippers and customers to ensure timely receipt of supplies.
  • Maintain accurate receipts, records, and withdrawals in the inventory system.
  • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies in a secure and efficient manner.
  • Perform stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.

To be successful in this role, you should have a basic school certificate and relevant working experience in a similar role. Additionally, you should be willing to relocate to the job location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
