We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services for location-based features.

About Us

Our company is a real-time community-driven going out platform that showcases live videos of top venues, provides line ETAs, detailed listings and offers deals to users across the country.

With tens of thousands of users relying on us every weekend, we are expanding quickly and transitioning from legacy systems to our own cloud-based infrastructure to support new features and scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop efficient, scalable and easy-to-integrate APIs and data flows for mobile and web applications
  • Own the full lifecycle of backend features, from idea and architecture to deployment and monitoring
  • Collaborate with the team on product direction and system design
  • Improve internal tools and workflows to reduce manual work and scale operations

Requirements:

  • You think in terms of systems, tradeoffs and long-term maintainability
  • You are comfortable working in an early-stage environment where priorities shift fast
  • You are pragmatic and write clean code while shipping products
  • You communicate clearly and can defend or adapt your technical decisions

Tech Stack:

  • Backend: NestJS (Node.js), TypeScript, AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, SNS, S3, Lambda)
  • Frontend: Next.js (ISR, Streaming), Expo (React Native)
