Senior Data Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Architect to spearhead the design and evolution of scalable, high-performance data systems in cloud environments. This strategic technical role will be responsible for defining architecture and guiding engineering across the entire data platform—from ingestion to analytics.

  • Design and evolve robust, scalable architectures for data lakes, data warehouses, and operational data stores in cloud environments.
  • Develop and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Pentaho, PL/SQL, and Bash scripting.
  • Architect and implement parallel processing workflows to support high-volume ingestion and transformation of structured and unstructured data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native thinking, with experience designing scalable systems and cloud-first data platforms. They will also possess hands-on technical skills in PL/SQL, Bash scripting, and performance optimization in a cloud environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture or senior-level data engineering roles, with strong experience in cloud environments.
  • Deep knowledge of PL/SQL, Bash scripting, parallel data processing, and performance optimization in a cloud environment.
  • Strong experience designing scalable systems and cloud-first data platforms.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining modern ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time data flows, and orchestration with Apache Airflow or similar.
