Job Title: Data Architect

This is a mid-senior level role that focuses on designing and leading the development of modern, hybrid data architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Degree 1: Own the end-to-end strategy for data management from business requirements to scalable data models and architecture design.
  • Degree 2: Guide the full data lifecycle including acquisition, transformation, classification, storage, presentation, distribution, security, privacy, and archiving.
  • Degree 3: Collaborate with customers to develop tailored data solutions leveraging cloud-native tools, data governance frameworks, and modern architecture patterns.
  • Degree 4: Apply knowledge of batch and streaming data processing in GCP.
  • Degree 5: Work with relational and non-relational databases, cloud storage, and business intelligence platforms to build centralized or distributed systems aligned with business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

  • Data modeling, database design, and data management best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
  • Familiarity with modern data architectures such as Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
  • Data governance tools and defining deployment frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with batch and streaming data processing in GCP.
  • GCP certifications or formal training in data architecture.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Security, or a related field.
