We are looking for a seasoned Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our next-generation data pipelines. Our ideal candidate will have industry experience with scaling reliable and secure cloud infrastructure on a global scale, building, designing, and supporting a cloud-based infrastructure stack to push data around efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving infrastructure features from design to production, leveraging tools such as Fivetran, Snowflake, Apache Kafka, and Apache Flink. We seek a motivated and skilled professional who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Terraform and public cloud services
  • Develop and maintain reliable infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code principles
  • Support real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Flink
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of monitoring, networking, and security at the application layer and cloud infrastructure layer
  • Experience with managed ELT frameworks such as FiveTran, Meltano, and AirByte
  • 5+ years of software development experience in languages such as Java, Scala, or Python
  • Experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
  • Knowledge of container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes
  • Experience working in Cloud services providers such as AWS or Azure
