Lead User Researcher

We are seeking a seasoned user researcher to lead and execute studies that inform game design, product development, and publishing strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in qualitative and quantitative research techniques, survey design, and data analysis. They will also possess excellent communication skills, able to distill complex research findings into actionable recommendations for non-research audiences.

  • Plan and execute user research studies using surveys, focus groups, interviews, playtests, and other methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize research needs and align with project goals.
  • Advocate for evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
  • Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for game design, product, and publishing teams.
  • Lead and mentor a team of user researchers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality output.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree completed.
  • 8+ years of experience in user research, including 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
  • Strong ability to communicate insights clearly and persuasively to non-research audiences.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and collaborating across departments.
  • Passion for games or a strong understanding of gaming culture and player motivations.
