Ensuring geothermal steam purity and cooling water quality is a critical aspect of our operations. As a professional in this field, you will play a vital role in protecting the turbine and its auxiliaries from corrosion, scaling, and clogging.

We are seeking an experienced individual to oversee the monitoring of geothermal steam purity for all generating units. This involves conducting regular checks to prevent fouling, corrosion of plant equipment, pipe systems, and auxiliaries.

  • Collaborate with steam suppliers to address any issues related to steam purity, ensuring a continuous supply of good-quality steam to generating units.
  • Work closely with suppliers to implement effective cooling water treatment programs, guaranteeing safe and efficient operation.
  • Facilitate external/third-party activities on brine parameters monitoring for binary plants.
  • Participate in budget preparation and monitor chemical consumption to optimize resource utilization.
  • Conduct quality and quantity checks of chemical deliveries and ensure sufficient inventory for continuous plant operation.
  • Maintain proper storage and disposal of laboratory waste according to safety, environmental, health, and good housekeeping standards.
  • Analyze laboratory results, maintain technical reports, and records for future reference.
  • Verify the purity of bulk chemical deliveries to ensure conformity to acceptance criteria.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
  • Registration as a Chemical Technician or licensure as a Chemist.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in chemical laboratory operations and maintenance.
  • Preferably, experience in the Geothermal industry.
