Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all site transactions are properly documented, accounted for, and taken up into the accounting system.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in MS Office.
  • They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

A key aspect of this role is inventory management, where the successful candidate will ensure that an efficient inventory management system is in place for large bulk stocks, cylinders, and other gas and non-gas items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial data and accounts payable/receivable
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal control policies
  • Collaborate with credit and collection supervisors to monitor customer credit limits and terms
  • Analyze and reconcile financial reports to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial operations or accounting
