Lead Education Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will lead the development and implementation of educational initiatives to enhance knowledge and confidence in healthcare professionals about our portfolio.
This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design and execute projects that meet business objectives. You will be responsible for optimizing awareness among customers and key influencers, leading practice visits, and engaging in regular dialogue with pre-selected ECPs to gather their views.
You will also be involved in the development of educational materials, scientific reviews, and claim substantiation of professional and marketing material while ensuring robust local copy clearance processes are in place.
Key metrics for measuring success include professional support and contact quality from targeted accounts, increase in knowledge and confidence of ECPs to prescribe following educational initiatives, and success of educational projects according to defined KPIs.
Our ideal candidate has a university degree or equivalent, preferably in ophthalmology, with at least 5 years of experience working in clinical ophthalmology. They must have advanced English language skills and strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
Strong leadership, coaching skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role, as well as a thorough understanding of compliance requirements and direct communication experience with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Brazilian Senior Professional Education Manager in panel meetings, training, product launches, and practice visits
- Support practice visits and peer-to-peer recommendation initiatives
- Participate in vision care involvement in conferences across Brazil and support local Ophthalmological committees
- Engage in regular dialogue with ECPs to gather their views and develop KOLs
- Partner with Medical Societies to increase and further optimize claims and messaging to ECPs and consumers in Brazil
- Scientific review and claim substantiation of Brazilian professional and marketing material
- Professional communication, education & development to raise profile of Vision care and its portfolio
- Leadership of Vision care at major Brazilian conferences
