Open Source Threat Intelligence Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Open Source Threat Intelligence Strategist to lead our threat intelligence strategy and execution, including understanding of which cyber threat actors are targeting Canonical's products and services.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as with the wider cybersecurity community, making sure that Canonical is recognised as a thought leader on open source threat intelligence.

About the Role
  • Job Description: The successful candidate will own Canonical's threat intelligence strategy and execution, including understanding of which cyber threat actors are targeting Canonical's products and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: A strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in OSINT tools, such as Maltego, Shodan, and social media scraping tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical content to a variety of audiences.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as with the wider cybersecurity community.
