About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. As a problem solver, explorer, and knowledge seeker, you will be responsible for developing cloud-based solutions, creating customer experiences, and answering critical questions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and price cloud architectures for individual sales and repeatable propositions.
  • Support the production of compelling collateral that highlights the value of cloud solutions.
  • Develop reusable and repeatable tools and reference architectures to drive efficiency and consistency in sales cycles.
  • Liaise between delivery and sales teams to ensure deliverables, pricing, and expectations are correctly set for successful projects and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to set strategies and objectives for customer meetings, aligned with the overall plan for an account or opportunity.
  • Provide feedback from sales situations and ensure the capabilities of cloud facilities and services continue to evolve to meet the growing market for analytics solutions in the cloud.
  • Offer practical guidance on the technical aspects of proposed solutions and set proper expectations for customer satisfaction (Sales).
  • Leverage detailed technical knowledge of cloud technology to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains.
  • Assist in responding to RFI/RFPs.
  • Participate in technical training to acquire and maintain knowledge of cloud technology – both internal and external.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar.
  • Architectural knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably from presales through implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commercial awareness and involvement in large, complex sales-cycles.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of cloud technology, architecture, and resources.
  • Skills and experience in facilitation and consulting.
