Job Title: Assistant Bar Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant Bar Manager is a key member of the beverage operations team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the bar and providing exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage operations, customer service, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outlet Operation:
    • Conduct daily briefings to ensure all team members are aware of important information.
    • Supervise team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to departmental standards.
    • Build strong relationships with guests and regular patrons, remembering individual preferences to provide personalized service.
    • Handle guest complaints and comments efficiently and tactfully.
    • Manage administration work related to cashier/bar operations and company policies.
    • Maintain department communication logbook and updated notice board.
    • Check equipment and stock levels to prevent shortages that impact operations and guest experiences.
    • Ensure the outlet and back-of-house areas meet F&B sanitation and hygiene standards.
    • Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage services, contents, and preparation methods.
    • Ensure LQA Standards, health, safety, and security procedures are in place.
    • Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings assigned by management.
    • Perform proper handovers and communication to the next shift.
    • Assist other food and beverage outlets during peak times or as needed.

Qualifications:

  • GCE O Level

Additional Requirements:

  • 5 years of work-related experience
