Job Title

The Director of Information Security Procurement is responsible for leading a procurement organization in support of IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the information security landscape.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts that deliver value and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define procurement needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and service delivery standards.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor supplier performance and category performance; take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments of suppliers and outsourced services to ensure they meet required security standards.
  • Market Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in information security to inform procurement strategies and decision-making.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations and renewals to ensure favorable terms and conditions are established.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on category performance, supplier performance, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in category management, procurement, or sourcing, with a focus on information security is required.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications in procurement or information security are a plus.
