About the Job

We are seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to develop and implement a world-class logistics process that delivers goods on time at the best cost. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing freight execution flowing through our transportation networks, with a focus on carrier management, development, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrier performance management, including on-time truck performance
  • Pulling data from numerous databases and performing ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
  • Identifying appropriate performance metrics for each program and ensuring consistent measurement and accountability
  • Continual communication with external and internal customers regarding operational and tactical initiatives
  • Developing performance metrics to drive business results
  • Escalating problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams, and following through on resolutions
  • Tracking existing metrics to detect and remove defects
  • Continuous Improvement Management with carriers, and developing Standard Operating Procedures
  • Preparing for and participating in regular Operations calls and business reviews
