We seek a seasoned Senior Data Analyst to join our Financial Crimes / Anti-Money Laundering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large datasets to identify potential suspicious patterns and anomalies.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial crimes, anti-money laundering regulations, and data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, and SAS. Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerPoint is also required.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform in-depth analysis of transactions, accounts, customers, alerts, and third-party data to identify potential risks.
- Design and implement financial crime detection models and scenarios using data analytics tools.
- Collaborate with investigations teams to provide data-driven insights and support decision-making processes.
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in the field.
- Proven expertise in financial crimes/AML space.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and data visualization software.
