Backend Developer

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced backend developer to design and implement our core services using a modern, serverless, and event-driven stack on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features for our cloud-native platform from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Architect and implement solutions on Azure making key decisions about which services and patterns to use to meet scalability and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications.
  • Drive best practices in code quality testing and CI/CD. You will be a key player in our code review processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a distributed cloud-based environment using tools like Application Insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or computer engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in software development with a proven track record of delivering complex backend solutions using the .NET ecosystem.
  • Extensive experience designing building and maintaining robust scalable RESTful APIs. Strong expertise in MS SQL Server including query optimization and database design.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles design patterns and unit integration testing frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills in English required to work effectively with clients.
