About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Specialist to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our e-commerce platforms through manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Test Scripts: Utilize Selenium and other automation tools to create and execute test scripts that ensure the quality of our e-commerce platforms.
  2. Perform Thorough Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of e-commerce platforms, identifying and documenting defects and issues.
  3. Ensure Compliance: Verify that all testing covers compliance scenarios, such as user consent, data handling, and privacy regulations (CPRA/CCPA, GDPR).
  4. Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with developers and product owners to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
  5. Continuously Improve: Develop and implement processes to enhance product quality and efficiency in a D2C environment.
  6. Monitor and Report Test Results: Provide insights to improve product performance and compliance.
  7. Stay Up-to-Date with Testing Tools: Stay current with the latest testing tools and technologies, applying them to enhance our QA processes.
  8. Work with Legal and Compliance Teams: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that all testing aligns with regulatory requirements.
  9. Participate in Code Reviews: Provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  10. Develop and Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for all testing processes, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  11. Create Test Plans and Cases: Develop detailed test plans and test cases that align with the overall testing strategy and business goals.
  12. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing supports business goals and product strategies.
  13. Conduct Performance Testing: Ensure that e-commerce platforms meet load and scalability requirements.
  14. Implement and Maintain Testing Frameworks: Develop and maintain testing frameworks that support continuous integration and delivery.
  15. Lead Troubleshooting Efforts: Oversee the resolution of testing issues, ensuring minimal disruption to development timelines.
  16. Provide Training and Support: Offer training and support to other team members on testing best practices and tools.
  17. Coordinate with Global Computer Security Teams: Collaborate with global computer security teams on policy, procedure, and security development standards.
  18. Oversee Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality assurance of digital projects adhering to development standards and best practices.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree: In computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  2. 5+ Years of Experience: In QA automation and manual testing, particularly in e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
  3. Experience with Automation Tools: Familiarity with Selenium and other automation tools and frameworks, such as BrowserStack or Cypress.
  4. Language Skills: Proficiency in languages supporting automated testing, such as Python.
  5. Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Manager of Software Quality (CMSQ) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) are an advantage.
  6. CMS Systems: Experience with CMS systems and understanding of their general functionalities.
  7. Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  8. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to write clearly, speak fluently, listen, and communicate effectively.
  9. Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and testing practices.
  10. Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure boards or JIRA and their testing tools.
  11. Data Privacy Regulations: Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as CPRA/CCPA, GDPR, and their implications for quality assurance.
  12. Compliance-Related Features: Experience in developing automated test scripts that validate compliance-related features.
  13. Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and report compliance issues with strong attention to detail.
  14. Shopify Compliance Features: Good understanding of Shopify's compliance features and how to validate them through testing.
  15. Digital Development: Experience in digital development using technologies such as React, Shopify, or JavaScript.
  16. Technical Code Review: Good understanding of the technical code review process for digital solutions.
  17. Computer Security Policy: Knowledge of computer security policy and procedures and a good understanding of web security guidelines.
  18. Software Development Process: Knowledge of software development process and standards, including code repository use, such as Git.
