About the RoleThis tenure-track position involves teaching and research in business analytics, with opportunities for collaboration across various disciplines. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and deliver high-quality curricula, publish scholarly work, and contribute to departmental service.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching: Develop and teach courses in business analytics, statistics, and related areas, as well as supervise student projects and research.
- Research: Conduct and publish research in applied statistics, probabilistic machine learning, and methods of artificial intelligence.
- Service: Contribute to departmental service, including curriculum development, program assessment, and committee work.
- Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as Business Analytics, Decision Sciences, Management Science, Operations Research, or Statistics.
- Demonstrated expertise in applied statistics, probabilistic machine learning, and methods of artificial intelligence.
- Experience in teaching at the graduate level and publishing scholarly work in peer-reviewed journals.
- Prior experience in industry consulting and research grants is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
