**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our financial operations in Brazil.

About the Role:
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes in accordance with local Brazilian regulations, while ensuring compliance with global finance policies.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal finance team to manage accounting and financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely accounting and tax closing.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the external accounting firm, monitoring deliverables, service quality, and outcomes.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Finance/Accounting in implementing upcoming cryptoasset regulations in Brazil, advising on impacts, requirements, and execution plans.
  • Monitor, analyze, and ensure accurate and timely submission of all regulatory reports to authorities such as the Banco Central do Brasil and Receita Federal do Brasil.
  • Develop and maintain the company's accounting, operational, and capital policies in line with current regulations, business needs, and strategic directives.
Responsibilities:
  • Track and interpret changes in laws, resolutions, and regulatory instructions related to brokerage and banking sectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies, and other third-party vendors.
