About the Role

We are looking for a skilled engineer to architect, develop and maintain our online infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable backend systems that ensure seamless connectivity and stability for players worldwide.
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing and operating backend services at scale.
  • Strong expertise in server-side development languages such as Java/Kotlin (preferably JVM), C#, Golang.
  • Understanding of scaling distributed online systems and their impact on player experience.
  • Experience with technologies like caching, load balancing, database schema design, concurrency techniques, microservice architecture.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with web protocols like Protobuf, Websockets, HTTPS.
  • Experience building fault-tolerant distributed systems with security best practices.
  • Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
  • Able to integrate backend code with game engines.
  • Understanding of how backend code influences the overall player experience.
Location

We offer remote work options, along with opportunities to work from Porto Alegre (Brazil) or Santiago (Chile).
