**Tax Specialist Role Overview**

At Solventum, we are seeking a skilled tax professional to join our team. This role presents an opportunity to make a significant impact by collaborating with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate corporate income tax return filings.

Some of the key responsibilities in this position will include:

  • Supporting the global accounting team in all aspects of US GAAP financial reporting, including cash tax forecasting and payments, quarterly provision, return to provision, and assessing uncertain tax positions.
  • Developing and implementing plans to optimize cash tax and ETR.
  • Providing timely support for tax audit efforts.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in accounting or tax from an accredited institution, as well as 2 years of direct tax compliance experience.

In addition, strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and local language, and the ability to collaborate across global functions and organizations are essential.
