**Job Overview**

Solving complex problems and driving innovation are key aspects of this role. As a senior IT specialist, you will play a crucial part in supporting global IT infrastructure projects, providing advanced technical support, and ensuring high service quality.

This is an onsite position at our plant.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Maintain relationships with local business areas and other functions to support initiatives from global corporate teams and strategic business units.
  • Support and coordinate IT infrastructure projects, working with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Provide technical support to end-users in offices and plants, helping them efficiently use IT tools and systems.
  • Act as level 3 support for identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring service continuity.
  • Diagnose incident origins through effective communication with users, support teams, internal operations, and vendors.
  • Perform hardware and software component acquisition, installation, configuration, and upgrade, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
  • Plan and manage responses to service interruptions and incidents, minimizing business impacts.
  • Conduct training for users on new technologies, systems, and tools, promoting adoption and correct use.
  • Document, track, and monitor incidents and problems, ensuring resolution within established deadlines and continuous process improvement.
  • Participate in critical incident resolution and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure the quality of infrastructure services, meeting agreed service levels with internal customers.
  • Support business applications infrastructure, ensuring consistency, performance, and high availability of servers and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with global IT standards, policies, and procedures, promoting information security and adherence.
  • Manage infrastructure project delivery, ensuring compliance with deadlines, scope, and budget.
  • Propose, evaluate, and monitor the acquisition of new technological solutions that meet business needs and optimize existing infrastructure.
**Mandatory Requirements**
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, information technology, or related fields.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the area.
  • Advanced English for working with international teams.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL / Oracle).
  • Computer networks (LAN / WAN).
  • Information security.
  • Problem-solving / troubleshooting.
**Desirable Requirements**
  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience working in multinational companies.
  • Experience in supporting business applications regarding installation/upgrades on servers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document operational procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly resolve technical issues, assess alternative approaches, and recommend the most viable and cost-effective solutions.
