IT Infrastructure Specialist

This role involves providing advanced technical support and collaborating with global IT infrastructure projects to drive innovation and solve complex problems.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local business areas and other functions to ensure effective collaboration and project delivery.
• Support the coordination of IT infrastructure projects, both locally and globally, in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.
• Provide expert technical assistance to end-users, enhancing their proficiency in utilizing IT tools and systems efficiently.
• Assume Level 3 support responsibilities for identifying, analyzing, and resolving intricate technical issues, ensuring continuous service availability.
• Conduct thorough investigations into incident origins through open communication with users, support teams, internal operations, and vendors.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and acquire hardware and software components, adhering strictly to technical standards.
• Plan and manage responses to service interruptions and other incidents, minimizing business impacts.
• Deliver training sessions for users on new technologies, systems, and tools, promoting adoption and correct usage.
• Document, track, and monitor incidents and problems, guaranteeing resolution within established deadlines and ongoing process improvement.
• Participate actively in the resolution of critical incidents and collaborate in root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Evaluate and ensure the quality of infrastructure services, meeting agreed-upon service levels with internal customers.
• Support the infrastructure of business applications, maintaining consistency, performance, and high availability of servers and systems.
• Ensure adherence to global IT standards, policies, and procedures, prioritizing information security and compliance.
• Manage infrastructure project delivery, upholding compliance with deadlines, scope, and budget.
• Propose, evaluate, and monitor the acquisition of novel technological solutions that meet business needs and optimize existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with vendors and other internal areas to ensure efficient and continuous operation of IT tools and services.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, or related fields.
• At least 7 years of experience in the field.
• Advanced English language skills for effective collaboration with international teams.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL/Oracle).
• Computer networks (LAN/WAN).
• Information Security.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
