About the Role

Fraser Health is embracing innovative methods to enhance patient care. This position provides virtual clinical services from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, fully remote clinical psychiatry services to adult patients, including on-call coverage.
  • Consult at a Virtual Psychiatry Unit and engage in outreach to patients' residences.
  • Perform assessments, outpatient treatment and consultation; conduct family meetings; organize case conferences and discharge planning.
  • Educate psychiatry residents and medical students.
  • Foster continuity of care by building strong working relationships with all members of the care team and advocating for patients' needs.
Requirements
  • A qualified or eligible Psychiatrist.
