About the Role

We are seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to join our high growth technology and payments company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Release/bookkeeping and accounting classification;
  • Support in Purchasing and Accounts Payable activities regarding the processing of fiscal and financial documents.
  • Carry out activities related to the accounting flow ensuring correct accounting according to pronouncements.
  • Accounting reconciliations and resolution of disputes;
  • Closing of balance sheet and assistance to the team in preparing reports for controllership;
  • Organization of accounting and tax documents;
  • Support the team when necessary;
  • Attendance and monitoring of the work of external audit and consultancy, providing all necessary clarifications.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Graduated in Accounting or Administration/Economics or studying Accounting;
  • Experience in large or medium-sized companies;
  • Knowledge in accounting and tax routines;
  • Knowledge in IFRS;
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel;
  • Advanced/Fluent English – daily international contact;
  • Ability to work autonomously and have the technical capacity to handle day-to-day operational problems.

  • Experience in international accounting;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Basic/Intermediate Spanish;
  • Experience in payment methods, acquiring services, payment institutions, financial products, digital products, and e-commerce;

  • Good time management, prioritization of activities, and autonomy;
  • Dynamic and willing to change your mindset to enter this journey;
