Product Development Engineer/CFD Simulation

- Engineering Degree: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related field is mandatory.
- English Proficiency: Advanced-level English language skills are required.
- 3D Design Tools: Strong knowledge of 3D design tools, including Catia and similar design software, is essential.
- Computer Simulation Tools: Proficiency in computer simulation tools, such as CFD, is highly preferred.
- Project Management Experience: Senior-level experience in project management, including work experience as a Project Leader, System Engineer, or equivalent, is required.
- Mechanical Component Development: Strong knowledge in mechanical component and system development and design is necessary.
- Appliance Functionality and Safety: Knowledge about appliance functionality and safety is highly preferred.
- DFA/DFAA Experience: Experience in DFA/DFAA is required.
- Food Preparation Appliances or Home Appliances: Knowledge in food preparation appliances or home appliances is highly preferred.
- Innovation Focus: An innovation-focused mindset is essential.
- Consumer Insight Orientation: Strong consumer insight orientation is necessary.
- Lead Architecture Projects at the related Business Area.
- Lead simulation activities using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element method (FEM), plastic injection and compression mold simulation for design (Moldflow), and sheet metal forming simulation (Autoform).
- Lead the Global Architecture on Modularity at a global level.
- Define the Product Architecture Roadmap and a detailed roll-out plan in agreement with the regions.
- Own and maintain the structure and outline of the different Architectures within the category.
- Own and maintain the interfaces between all Module Areas.
- Identify and drive development opportunities cross-sector wise.
- Own and define the bill of material structure.
- Own and govern the Architecture Books and secure agreements by all Business Areas.
- Involved in IXP and secures implementation of architecture solutions.
