Role Overview
The Specialist Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the defined scope throughout various phases of bidding, FEED, or project execution. This position involves overseeing the assigned work from inception to completion, guiding both local and global team members, and spearheading engineering solutions for projects and proposals. The focus will be on maintaining quality, adhering to company values, managing costs, achieving objectives, and ensuring satisfaction for both internal and external clients, all while complying with TechnipFMC standards and relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design offshore and subsea structures and associated equipment.
- Develop engineering solutions tailored to client specifications for proposals and projects, aiming to optimize costs and timelines.
- Identify and assess risks linked to engineering tasks and necessary product qualifications, serving as a technical representative.
- Ensure engineering documentation adheres to the quality standards, codes, and regulations set by TechnipFMC and clients.
- Oversee and coordinate project design and related activities, including subcontractor management when required.
- Collaborate with peers and project support functions (such as supply chain, assembly planning, and engineering testing) to monitor service execution and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Guarantee that project deliverables at various Design Review stages are thoroughly completed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in English.
- CREA certification.
- Experience in equipment project management.
- Background in subsea structures and/or equipment projects.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Experience with FEA software, specifically Ansys.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor is desirable.
