Senior OutSystems Tech Lead

We are looking for a skilled Senior OutSystems Tech Lead to join our team.

About the Role

The Senior OutSystems Tech Lead will be responsible for leading development teams technically in OutSystems projects. This includes defining and ensuring the implementation of best practices in architecture and coding, as well as acting as a facilitator between the technical team and business areas.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of 5 years in software development, applying engineering best practices. They will also have minimum of 5 years of experience with the OutSystems platform, with solid mastery of its tools, components, and lifecycle.

Furthermore, the candidate should have full proficiency in the platform technologies: Traditional Web, Reactive Web, and Mobile. They will also need to have completed an undergraduate degree, and be fluent in English.

In addition, at least 2 years of experience as an OutSystems Tech Lead, with a proven track record of technical leadership in teams and projects is required. Experience working in consulting is also desirable.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex integrations (REST, SOAP, external databases), and have knowledge of DevOps focused on OutSystems. OutSystems Certifications (Associate/Professional/Expert) are also highly valued.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead development teams technically in OutSystems projects.
  • Define and ensure the implementation of best practices in architecture and coding.
  • Act as a facilitator between the technical team and business areas.
  • Review and approve technical solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security of applications.
  • Participate in strategic meetings and support the team in effort estimation and technical planning.
  • Mentor and support the technical development of team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience of 5 years in software development, applying engineering best practices.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with the OutSystems platform, with solid mastery of its tools, components, and lifecycle.
  • Full proficiency in the platform technologies: Traditional Web, Reactive Web, and Mobile.
  • Completed undergraduate degree.
  • Fluent in English.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an OutSystems Tech Lead, with a proven track record of technical leadership in teams and projects.
  • Experience working in consulting.
Desirable Requirements
