Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Transition Manager to lead the implementation of an innovative renewable energy strategy.
This role involves working with stakeholders and external parties to build out and scale up the implementation of on-site solar projects, as well as qualified supply in collaboration with third party providers.
The successful candidate will lead the transition of electricity supply to 100% renewable by creating a customer value proposition and enrollment process for both managed and non-managed facilities.
Key responsibilities include project managing third party suppliers providing associated services in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of solar systems, qualified supply contract management, customer billing and administration, ongoing operations & maintenance, and any other related tasks.
The Renewable Energy Transition Manager will also be responsible for managing contractual relationships and coordinating with legal, as needed, to assist with contract negotiations and to resolve programmatic needs/requirements.
Furthermore, this role involves following energy regulatory frameworks and assessing the impact of potential changes on existing power contracts and new leads.
The successful candidate will also interface and develop strong working relationships with various regional internal and external partners to ensure the team brings value to our business.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Familiarity with renewable energy solutions and solar technology
Strong project management skills with experience in EPC projects
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
