Behavioral Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will work closely with individuals and families to develop and implement personalized behavioral plans.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide behavioral therapy and other therapeutic services to individuals and their families. You will work with supervisors to design and develop treatment methodologies that will be incorporated into the treatment plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop behavioral plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual or family
  • Provide behavioral therapy and other therapeutic services in the home, community, or job site
  • Work with supervisors to develop and implement treatment methodologies
  • Maintain the use of least restrictive treatment guidelines when implementing behavioral interventions and techniques
  • Coach individuals, family members, and other team members in effective management, communication, and social skills
  • Complete admission and discharge planning and documentation as needed
  • Perform required assessments and treatment plans within designated timeframes
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in psychology or related field
  • 1 year experience preferred
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles required
  • Familiarity with conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) preferred
  • Evaluation of progress from a qualitative and quantitative standpoint
