CTV Application Specialist

About the Role
Delivering innovative applications for Connected TV platforms is a key focus of this position. As part of a Scrum team, you will collaborate with software engineers, stakeholders, and contributors to design, develop, and optimize CTV applications for major streaming and media companies.
This is a full-time fully remote opportunity requiring collaboration across time zones, specifically in the US timezone. You will be actively involved in the decision-making process and attend meetings with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-performance applications for leading CTV platforms: Roku, Apple TV (tvOS), Fire TV, or Samsung Smart TV.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and product enhancements.
- Optimize applications for performance, stability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across devices.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience developing applications for at least one CTV platform.
- Proficiency with relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., BrightScript for Roku, Swift/Objective-C for tvOS, Java/Kotlin for Fire TV, Tizen/JavaScript for Samsung).
- Solid understanding of video streaming technologies, including DRM, HLS/DASH, and media player frameworks.
- Experience with API integration and working with backend services.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Advanced English proficiency with strong communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with analytics, testing, or advertising integrations in CTV apps.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes.
