Construction Management Specialist
Há 7 dias
Effective project planning is crucial in the construction industry, where automated processes are scarce. Unlike software development, which often employs real-time monitoring to track progress and stay on schedule, construction teams rely on manual processes that can be time-consuming and error-prone.
This lack of automation results in significant financial losses for the industry. It's estimated that construction wastes substantial funds annually due to undetected glitches and delays. A technology-based solution aims to bridge this gap by bringing computer vision technology to construction projects. The platform empowers teams to make informed decisions, streamline their workflows, and ultimately deliver high-quality results efficiently.
The technology has already made a tangible impact in various sectors, including healthcare, data centers, and biopharmaceuticals. It has contributed to the construction of facilities that provide essential services and products. As the technology continues to grow, it is trusted by reputable clients like Shell Oil, Genentech, HCA Healthcare, Kaiser, Turner, and Layton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project schedules to identify critical path and float for inclusion in system reporting.
- Perform product data analysis by verifying scan data against 3D design models using proprietary techniques developed by the engineering team.
- Generate customer reports within agreed-upon service level agreements, working closely with the Product and Engineering teams to improve report quality.
- Organize and transfer monthly customer files into designated locations for access by engineering tools and internal team members.
- Maintain and update software, debug issues, and collaborate with the technical team as needed.
- Communicate effectively throughout the workday via Slack, Jira tickets, direct calls, and conference calls (Zoom).
- Participate in office training and onboarding programs to learn necessary communication and processing software platforms.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in construction management, focusing on creating and managing project schedules.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Experience working on data center, hospital, or biopharmaceutical projects.
- 1+ year of experience creating technical reports for customers.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
