Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bell Attendant to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Bell Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by assisting with luggage, parking, and other tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Clean and maintain the lobby and entrance areas to ensure a clean and attractive facility for our guests.
  2. Assist other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
  3. Greets and assists arriving guests with unloading luggage from vehicles and transporting it to their rooms.
  4. Assists departing guests by transporting luggage from rooms to the lobby and helping them load it into their vehicles.
  5. Responds to guest needs by delivering items such as laundry, newspapers, and ironing boards in person.
  6. Responds to inquiries and promotes the hotel's services by explaining products and services.
  7. Keeps abreast of local activities and establishments to answer questions, recommend, and give directions.
  8. Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.

Requirements

  1. Must be able to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
  2. Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  3. Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
  4. Tactful, courteous, and discreet.
  5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak and understand English.
  6. Clean and professional appearance.
  7. Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.
  8. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  9. Must pass a background check.
  10. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  11. Must be comfortable in various vehicle types and willing to train on manual transmissions to achieve proficiency within the first 90 days.

Education and Experience

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Must have at least two years of driving experience with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

  1. Must be able to operate two- and four-wheeled luggage carts and standard office equipment.
  2. Must be able to lift luggage up to 70 pounds.
  3. Capable of prolonged standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
  4. Intermittent exposure to outside elements, but primarily an indoor position.
