About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect Specialist to join our SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers with their SAP S/4 HANA adoption on their path to the Intelligent Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to technical and architectural discussions with customers, developing solution roadmaps that meet their business needs.
  • Own, lead, and coordinate network services-related operational tasks, mitigating network-related escalations and contributing to process improvements.
  • Support network operational activities for technical system landscapes on hyperscalers.
  • Identify current network service-related issues, define action plans, and drive resolution with the help of various network service providers.
  • Bring expertise and provide high-quality, stable network deliverables and operations across the customer's E2E lifecycle.
  • Understand high availability solutions or disaster recovery architecture, network, and virtual technologies on hyperscalers.
  • Proactively solve problems and demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude with a customer-first mindset.

Requirements

  • Excellent network administration experience or support experience on any hyperscaler (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP).
  • Good knowledge of various architecture approaches for deployment on hyperscalers and hands-on experience in handling at least one migration End to End from on-premises to hyperscaler, including network onboarding activities.
  • Solid knowledge and demonstrable experience in customer network infrastructure-related services, having a clear overview and understanding of all network services matrix which relates to people, process, and tools.
  • Expertise in at least one hyperscaler technology (Azure/AWS/GCP), having an overall understanding in all hyperscalers of onboarding, operation services in the network area.
  • Collaborative, passionate about network technology, with the ability to connect the dots between customers and all types of network service providers, including architecture teams, and the ability to de-escalate network-related issues when raised by providing network expertise.
  • Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team (remote).
  • Ability to continuously acquire new knowledge and latest technologies in an independent and proactive way.
  • Understanding of SAP Solutions and related cloud technologies would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written in English.
