About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at HCLTech. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Problem Resolution: Provide timely and effective resolution to technical issues related to hardware, software, and network problems.
  2. Issue Routing: Route complex technical issues to internal support teams for further assistance.
  3. Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and support staff to resolve technical issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  4. User Access and Exit Controls: Administer and provide user access and exit controls to ensure secure and efficient access to company resources.
  5. Call Tracking and Documentation: Use the Call Tracking System to document and manage problems and work requests, and their respective resolutions and circumventions.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with help desk peers to cross-train, develop, and implement operational excellence procedures, and foster teamwork.
  7. Technical Knowledge and Problem-Solving: Work closely with internal support staff to obtain technical knowledge and permanently solve chronic problems.
  8. Training and Development: Participate in on-the-job training designed to enhance skills and support capabilities.
Requirements
  1. Language Skills: Advanced level of English and Spanish (conversation).
  2. Experience: Experience in help desk, customer service, and support experience with problem-solving involving hardware, software, and networks.
  3. Technical Skills: Hands-on work experience with Windows Operating systems (Windows XP/7/10), remote desktop connectivity applications, and MS Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Outlook/Exchange).
  4. MS Outlook Skills: Configuring MS Outlook via Exchange or POP, making calendar entries, sharing calendar address book and contacts, making pst files, signatures, enabling spell check options, read receipt, recall a sent email, and setting up Rules in MS Outlook.
