Accounting Specialist

  1. As a critical member of our Global Accounting - IRFS team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of construction and project accounting, as well as process management. This includes ownership of related internal controls.
  2. You will evaluate current processes and develop and implement improvements to take advantage of Oracle system and fixed asset accounting best practices.
  3. This position reports to the Manager of Accounting and works closely with other functional areas in the Global Controllership Organization (GL, Tax, and AP).
  4. Additionally, you will support and partner with Data Center Operations, IT, Product, and CTO organizations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with upstream data owners and cross-functional teams to support comprehensive accounting activities.
    • Liaise with all business units and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
    • Manage monthly reconciliations and audit schedules for Joint Ventures (JVs), collaborating with JV accountants to guarantee prompt and accurate preparation of reports at month's end.
