Accounts Receivable Junior Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill this role. This opportunity offers an excellent chance for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience in accounts receivable processes and start their career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and post customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update customer accounts in the accounting system.
  • Perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
  • Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and assist with collections efforts.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues.
  • Support month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
  • Collaborate with other finance team members on projects and tasks.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Experience in accounts receivable or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (SAP).
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Time management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • BASIC understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and intermediate English required for mostly written communication.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
