Senior Business Intelligence Manager Job

The ideal candidate will join our data and insights team, a diverse group of brand planners, analysts, data scientists, and measurement technology specialists. Our common goal is to use data expertise to inspire clients and partners to execute best-in-class marketing fueled by data-rich insights.

About the Role

This role involves managing multiple business intelligence projects or tasks and serving as the first point of contact for day-to-day inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients and partners to clarify needs, goals, and timelines to define a solution design, covering data sources, data collection, schema, and wireframes.
  • Bring together data from different sources, potentially with varying file formats, naming conventions, and columns, and transform it into cohesive datasets, highlighting where underlying changes to the data sources may be required.
  • Build visualizations in data visualization tools within timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure dashboards match the underlying data sources and their design meets client requirements.
  • Provide ad hoc technical support.
  • Work with sales teams and other capabilities to present the benefits of data analytics tools and its features to prospects and existing clients, depending on their challenges.
  • Engage in the design of collateral and processes to develop the practice further and innovate the product portfolio.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong demonstrable proficiency in Tableau (or Power BI, but Tableau preferred).
  • Experience working with diverse data sources across multiple channels to produce insight.
  • Strong experience in data management, ETL best practices, and SQL.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
  • Ability to design and build compelling data visualizations for different stakeholder levels.
  • Client-facing skills and ability to succinctly explain technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with marketing data analytics and understanding of the levers a digital marketer may pull to influence marketing outcomes.
  • Attention to detail combined with a careful approach to process.
