Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop regional sourcing strategies in conjunction with senior leaders.
  • Implement global sourcing initiatives, collaborating effectively with commodity experts.
  • Provide critical input and insights from various regions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and cash management improvements.
  • Strengthen supply chain resilience through informed sourcing decisions.
  • Conduct thorough benchmarking of existing supplier portfolios.
  • Source top-tier suppliers and establish effective supplier panels within regions.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions, including pricing agreements and open purchase orders.
  • Drive supplier development and improvement efforts across regions.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts and backlogs for specific commodities.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive sourcing databases, ensuring currency and relevance.
  • Support risk assessment and opportunity reviews.
  • Act as a primary liaison between engineering teams and suppliers.
  • Lead complex purchasing activities for major projects, aligning procurement efforts with project requirements.
  • Facilitate effective communication with suppliers during project execution, addressing claims and PO changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in sourcing, covering mechanical and electrical components.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills.
  • Fluent proficiency in English and Portuguese languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Office software and ERP systems.
  • Action-oriented individual with a strong focus on results.
